bendixen contemporary art was founded in 2005 by Mr. Kim Bendixen, who has participated in the international artworld for the past 10 years. The gallery is situated in a vital area where diverse and innovative galleries are concentrated and making their imprint on the former warehouse.


The gallery, bendixen contemporary art, is dedicated to exhibit the work of artists who makes significant contributions to contemporary art and whose practises engages an investigating or critical discourse on the contemporary culture.

bendixen contemporary art focuses on emerging artists worldwide and has since its beginning been representing / showing artists from; Denmark, USA, Sweden, England and Japan - either by group or solo exhibitions.

Among artists shown in the periode 2006 and Spring 2007 are: Eric Brown (USA), Johan Nobell (S), Sarah Baker (USA), Ferdinand Ahm Krag (DK), Eva Larsson (S), Torben Ribe (DK), Alexander Tovborg (DK), Morten Schelde (DK), Elizabeth Huey (USA) and others.

The works exhibited is in a variety of mediums incl. painting, drawing, sculpture, installations, photography and video.


Later this year the gallery will present solo-shows with: Ferdinand Ahm Krag (DK), Lena Johansson (S), Marika Seidler (DK) and the Japanese artist Turo Kuwakubo (J). All artists are represented in the gallery.
