Flore Nove-Josserand was born in 1980 in Paris and graduated from the Slade School of Fine Art, London, in 2007. In 2006 she received the AHRC Postgraduate Award for Professional Preparation Masters Scheme. Group shows include Year 07, London (2007), Slade School of Fine Art MA/MFA Degree Show, Slade School of Fine Art, London (2007) and Air Guitar and Two Teaspoons, Bischoff/Weiss, London (2007).
Flore Nové-Josserand’s work consists of perceptual objects: objects intended to be experienced in person.
At once two dimensional images articulating themselves visually according to the balance of masses of colour, they are also decorative objects that play upon illusions of depth.
