Located on New York City's lower east side Canada has provided a location for art objects as well as performance works, fashion label launches and experimental music. The art world has seen this gallery launch the careers of several artists and embrace and uphold the work of important established artists from New York and abroad. Founded in 2000, Canada presupposes that artists can reconcile the experimental and the grand within a market setting. Our mandate is to maintain an institution where artists can thrive and find the support and recognition they deserve.
